Summatime in SG

July 17, 2017

Expat life is cyclical. and part of that cycle is, EVERYONE leaves during the summertime. I mean, just about everyone. I can say this because this is now our third summer staying in Singapore. Almost our entire church congregation is gone for the summer, the neighborhood is pretty empty and it sometimes feels like it’s just us πŸ™‚

But it’s actually been pretty great. Kyle can come home a bit earlier (while still leaving the house at 4:45 a.m., naturally) and we are able to see him more on the weekends. This past weekend, he took Friday off and Monday was a holiday in Singapore, so it truly felt like an extended staycation! We had so much fun exploring Singapore together and just playing.Β 2017-06-25_0003.jpg
