She saw ME, she saw my light, and she reflected it right back at me so I could see it too.
this quote says everything I want to accomplish as a photographer, and when I read it for the first time, I cried. We want some perfectly posed portraits, but really, what I really want to capture is what in your heart (a direct quote from Chelsie and so appropriate).
I photographed five (FIVE!) mini sessions in one afternoon and lemme tell ya, the Watts family session was not nearly long enough! We jumped, played, snuggled and twirled. We giggled and did Superman poses, and then I brought enough marshmallows + m&m’s to send the kids home with a little buzz 🙂
this gorgeous family was magnetic and gorgeous and everything-in-between.
and all I know is, I saw some light and some reflections.
perfect family + that perfect Singapore skyline.
the cutest jumping duo! // ok, they’re adorable.
who else wants to photoshop themselves into this family picture? *raises hands*
heart melting with these two. // little muscle man!
one of my favorite things to photograph is mom + dad.
this mama + her babies.
cute cute! // a little giddiness.
the way Chelsie looks at him.
Photo by the three-year-old, and I’m so obsessed with it! // sibling loves.
such naturals in front of the camera!
extra hugs. // gorgeous mama.
love is everything.
his smirk, adorable hair + little bow tie?! killing me.
sweet hand-holding moments.
And if this gorgeous session wasn’t enough, I got the best email from Chelsie.
“We ask our kids at dinner every night what the best part of their day was and they both said, “family pictures!”
And that is the ONLY way I want to end my sessions from now on! Let’s definitely do this again, Watts family.
